(Tête de Turc, 21.04.05) - L’Association pour le Souvenir des Victimes du Génocide perpétré par les Arméniens sur les populations musulmanes de 1914 à 1922 lance une campagne européenne contre les "monuments de la haine" érigés chaque année par les activistes arméniens.

Une lettre type rédigée en anglais (voir ci-dessous) a été mise à la disposition des Amis de la Turquie qui sont invités à l’envoyer aux municipalités susceptibles d’ériger de nouveaux monuments arméniens.

To whom it may concern ;

The comprehensive demonstrations against Turkey, which are organized every year in parallel to the so-called genocide claims, are not compatible with the historical realities, and are increasingly getting a racist nature.

Such a situation unilaterally hinder the constructive initiatives of Turkey, which does not allow the germination of malice or hatred, and cause the lasting friendship, expected to be established between Turkey and Armenia, be prevented due to a fanatic mentality.

On the other hand, it must be kept in mind how bad impacts the two World Wars miserably experienced by the whole world had in the memories of the nations and on the next generations. The building of the monuments of malice shaped by the discourses regarding the events which never took place and based totally on hearsays, is so wounding, and those monuments are the symbols of a prejudice stemming out of a unilateral fanaticism.

In Turkey, there are monuments built to enable the commemoration in due respect of the ones who lost their lives during the World War I and the Korean War, however, there are no monuments which would cause the germination or encouragement of racist feelings against any state or nation or which give messages of hatred.

However, by the initiatives of many lobbying organizations captive of fanatic feelings, monuments of malice have been built against Turkey and against the Turkish social motives, which set examples for the world and are based on humanitarian values, and the number of such monuments increase every year.

In general it can be seen that throughout the world there are more than 100 monuments of malice which bear writings against Turkey and which are on the platforms far from realities.

However, all humanity has such a strong belief in the necessity of coming to the forefront of the symbols, in which common humane values that can display peaceful feelings desired by the countries and people emerge.

For that reason, we wish you would support our cry regarding the lifting of the unilateral and outdated symbols of malice which are tried to be spread throughout the world.

Tarihi gerçeklerle örtüþmediði gibi sözde soykýrým iddialarý paralelinde her yýl kapsamlý bir þekilde düzenlenen Türkiye aleyhtarý gösteriler, giderek ýrkçý boyutlara taþýnmaktadýr.

Bu durum hiçbir zaman kin ve düþmanlýk duygularýnýn yetiþmesine izin vermeyen Türkiye’nin sergilemek arzusunda bulunduðu yapýcý giriþimleri tek taraflý bir þekilde engellemekte, Türkiye ve Ermenistan arasýnda tesis edilmesi beklenilen kalýcý dostluk duygularýnýn fanatik bir zihniyet altýnda ezilmesine neden olmaktadýr.

Öte yandan tüm dünyanýn acý içerisinde tecrübe ettiði her iki dünya savaþýnýn milletler hafýzasýnda ve takip eden nesillerde ne derece olumsuz etkilerinin olduðu bir kez daha düþünülmelidir. Kaldý ki yaþanmamýþ olaylar hakkýnda ve bütünüyle rivayetlere dayalý söylemlerle þekillendirilen kin anýtlarýnýn inþa edilmesi bir o kadar yaralayýcýdýr ve bu anýtlar, tek taraflý yürütülen fanatizmin doðurduðu bir ön yargýnýn simgeleri konumundadýr.

Türkiye’de ; 1.Dünya Savaþý ve Kore Savaþý’nda hayatýný kaybeden insanlarýn makul bir saygý çerçevesinde anýlabilmesi amacýna yönelik inþa edilen anýtlar haricinde, düþmanlýk mesajlarý içeren, baþka bir devlet veya millete yönelik ýrkçý duygularýnýn yeþermesine ve körüklenmesine yol açabilecek hiçbir anýt mevcut deðildir.

Oysa fanatik duygularýna yenik düþmüþ bir çok lobi organizasyonunun giriþimleri ile inþa edilen, Türkiye ve Türklerin dünyaya örnek olan ve insani deðerleri temel alan toplumsal motifinin aleyhine dikilen kin anýtlarýna, her yýl yenileri eklenilmektedir.

Genel olarak bakýldýðýnda dünya üzerinde 100’e yakýn kin anýtýnýn, Türkiye aleyhine sözler barýndýrdýðý ve yaþanan gerçeklerle ilgisi bulunmayan kaideler üzerinde konuþlandýrýldýðý görülür.

Oysa tüm insanlýðýn, ülkeler ve insanlar arasýnda ümit edilen barýþ yanlýsý duygularý sergileyebilen tarzda ortak insani deðerlerin vücut bulacaðý sembollerin yükselmesi gerekliliðine olan inancý büyüktür.

Bu nedenle dileðimiz, tüm dünyaya yayýlmaya çalýþýlan bu tür tek yanlý ve çað dýþý nefret sembollerinin kaldýrýlmasý yönündeki haykýrýþýmýza destek vermeniz yönündedir.
