Istanbul hosts examples of Bosnian culture this week.
The "Bosnia and Herzegovina Culture Week" begins tonight at the Ataturk Cultural Center. For the first night, Erkan Mumcu, the Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism, and Safet Halilovic, the Bosnian Minister of Society will attend.
The festivities include works from artists in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Fine Arts Union (ULUBIH) and a performance of "Hasanaginica Opera" by the Sarajevo National Opera. The soloist of the activity is the Sarajevo canton’s Minister of Culture and Sport Ivica Saric.
Later in the week, the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra will perform and a gala for the film, "Fire Burns", which is about the Bosnia will entertain guests.
The week will conclude with a musical performance whose keynote piece will be "Sevdalinka."
